Kombolcha Agricultural College’s library
- Is an eye-catching and comfortable complex in the campus.
- Is staffed with trained personnel who direct, supervise and assist in delivering required services.
- Accommodates about 200 students at a time in the main reading area.
- Entertains all the departments with their own sections and corners in the building to make resources easily available to its users.
- Consists of a book store, reading room for staffs, comfort stations, and many other rooms for other related purposes.
- Serves as a resource and research center for instructors and off- campus community who are interested in making further studies.
- Provides service on shift-based schedules that can be modified depending on the situations at hand.
Efforts made so far to maximize the potential of the service the library provides include provision of on-job training for its staffs, furnishing the store and circulation with updated reference and supplementary materials, providing digital library with resources loaded on some computers and introducing e-library service through the internet.
