The clinic in the Kombolcha Agricultural College is a modern building, though not fully furnished with necessary medial equipment’s. Hence, the service it provides is only limited to lower-level diagnosis, treatment, advice and referral services despite sufficient rooms intended for these and other related purposes.
The section has a trained medical professional and other supporting staffs. It not only serves for the students, but also for the college community – staff members residing in the college compound in the case of emergency.
If severe cases happen, referral and free transportation service will automatically be provided in a 24/7 standby mode.
Referral might either be to the nearby health centers and Kombolcha General Hospital, or Dessie Referral Hospital for further referrals depending on the severity of the cases.
